Thanks for posting that, Anita. My thoughts exactly - well ,actually my thoughts on Reagan are inappropriate today, and it's in the past anyway.

The quote most often attributed to Reagan is "um...I don't recall," so I've always thought that his alzheimer's was some sort of awful divine retribution - so that he REALLY wouldn't recall. Anything. And at least he didn't look like a deer in the headlights when he lied to America - he was an ACTOR, after all. A lousy one, but an actor nonetheless.

But I've never forgiven him for that ketchup thing. That's what I remember when I think of Reagan. But we won't speak ill of the dead, and will just say that compared to George W. Bush Ronald Reagan looked like...um....Teddy Roosevelt.
