Iran-contra fucked it up at the end. Like all administrations that have done the same, his legacy (and ironically our national security) will suffer for the significant lies he told America.

But, I'm glad I voted for him when I was allowed to. The man believed in American, he didn't "win" the Cold War, but he sure played a major part in ending it, and he led America out of the befuddled Carter era. History will look kind on Ronald Reagan, IMHMFGDO. I will too.
