I really struggled under that guy. Just outta school, no work, like a six year wage freeze (most of my friends didn't have jobs, so I stuck with it) and working all three shifts in a week plus overtime just to keep that job so I could put food on my family.

But I got what I deserved, I voted for him his first term (hey, 20 year olds make LOTS of mistakes). While he did a lot of things I disagreed with, I think it was because he was a conservative, and I'm not. I don't mean he was like today's Republicans - they don't represent conservatism well at all - but I didn't think Reagan was horrible, just a different philosophy than mine.

He was witty though, and smarter than I gave him credit for.
