I might add that that lennon hated school but so did alot of geniouses and he was clearly a genious.The 13th floor elevators were great but lennon had alot of stuff that pushed boundries and of course more than them .Rain,tomorrow never knows,happiness is a warm gun,strawberry fields forever,revolution 9,i am the walrus, a day in the life,are just afew way out there lennon tracks.He was always pushing boundries and experimenting and so was mccartney.Lastly as keno noted the entire world seemed it stop....yeah his death and he were that big he was the icon of icons!!Jim morrison was very charismatic and talented.And when he died alot of people noticed and when he spoke or sang alot of people noticed.When john lennon sang or spoke the entire world took notice and when he died the entire world took notice.He had his haters and detractors but he was even well respected by them, i believe?At the time of his death lennon was probably the most famios man in the world except for muhammed ali and some political leaders.Jim morrison was never ever close to such status.
