Lumping the year 2000 in with the 90s doesn't make sense, and it has nothing to do with whether or not there was a year Zero.

Kubrick and Woody Allen are two of my favorites, too. I'm not nearly as interested in movies as I am in music, but I do own all of Kubrick's movies since Paths of Glory. I've seen A Clockwork Orange probably fifty times and it never gets old. You could turn that movie on silent and I would still love it.
