I cannot believe this ridiculous crap about NFL players not standing for the anthem and potentially getting in trouble for it. So, the NFL, or a consortium of team owners (i'm not sure which) have made some rule about how they must stand or stay in the locker room.
If they had balls they would have stood by the players and let them do as they wish. That would have enraged Trump, I'm sure. He is the guy who fuels this debate.
One commentator yesterday pointed out that at NFL games, you can still go buy food, shirts, hats etc while the anthem is being played. So if its so important why don't they prohibit these activities as well.
The notion that you are being unpatriotic for kneeling during the anthem is just stupid. These men are, in fact, expressing a love for the country when they do this.
