Holy fuck. This is just unbelievable.

I started posting here in Jan. 99. Jimmy and Syph were the first two gassers I had any real contact with.

My niece and I went to Sacramento to see the Stones that Feb. I contacted Jimmy a couple of times at his work but had a hard time connecting until the gig. It was a quick hello with him and Syph.

After that we kept in contact via email. He helped me get started with trading bootlegs and the rest is history. I've got a vault of about 400 plus.

We had contact periodically after that until we finally met in San Francisco for a long weekend, I think it was 2005. Along with SheRat, Pdog, Payphone Al and the Queen, we had a great time.

Everything written about Jimmy in the above posts is so true. The nicest person,always going 100 mph, that was Jimmy.

Thanks very much Syph for keeping us informed.

My sympathy goes to all his family and friends.

RIP Jimmy, you won't be forgotten.
