The worst part about getting a divorce is how it can hurt the kids. So telling them in the right way is just so important. I hope you and your ex will do so together, that is the best way to break such news to them. The younger ones will have more trouble with it than the older ones will.
I do hope you will get over your divorce fast, but at least in time you should. Just watch what you do in the weeks and months a head. After my second marriage broke up, I started to live with a 19 year old girl only weeks later - and she was 22 years younger than me. I clearly wasn't thinking straight when I did that and within two months that relationship was over too. But still, within a year I was totally over that second marriage. But then again, it was my first wife who I never to this day totally got over breaking up with, as she was even a part of the reason the second marriage didn't last. I learned that you just can't stayed married to one person when you are still seeing your first wife on the side. So you got to totally get over your ex no matter what.
