Keno's been by nickname since I was about 6 or 7 years old - or however old enough you are to be allowed to play in the street by your parents. I already told the story here a long time ago and it's too long to repeat, other than I got it from the kid next door who named the baseball field located on our street half after me, since we got the paint that we painted the basses & home plate in the street with, by using my dad's old leftover white paint that he was getting rid of. So my dad - who hated my real name ("Lewis"), heard it, and he too started to call me "Keno" instead too, and it stuck. My mom hated "Keno" and refused to ever call me that, but even she accepted the name in time, since that's what all of my friends called me.
