manny, you're my closest mate here when it comes to psych, so I'd love to know what you think of yet another gem from '67? Also, I have another great album to add to the list, which I'm listening to today, for the first time: KAK, self titled debut from 1968. It is a cross between Moby Grape and Quicksilver Messenger Service, with some nice (and slower) prettiness mixed in here and there. I have been reading this book at Barnes and Noble the last couple of times I've been there (in the store, I haven't bought it yet) called "Psychedelia" and it is has both of these. Up next is an album called "The United States of America" which I've never heard of either.
