Okay, I'll be honest, I didn't think that would work. I had given up on getting my posts to work, then I switched computers over the summer and lost and forgot my gasland password. Leave it to some seriously good music to allow me to all of sudden somehow pull that thing straight out of my memory banks and into a post that worked. I suppose there's magic in my house at work, too, no doubt brought on by the stereo set-up I've finally installed and the serious vinyl collecting I've been doing.

Yes, Cauldron is cool, I'm glad some of you seem to like it! For more, the most immediate comparisons to it I thought of are Parable of Arable Land by the Red Krayola (also from '67) and Phil Pearlman's 1970-era The Electronic Hole album. With psych, if it is too spacey and atonal I get bored very fast, but as long as it kicks into gear from time to time with rhythm and energy I can handle the weird stuff.
