THE WHO = Both their covers offer their own interpretation, certainly different from the perfections of the originals. Both songs remind me of those awesome NUGGETS compilations from years ago. Love it.
My vote ~~ "The Last Time", Keith Moon is more wild on this one. He's one bloody-HELL of a drummer! He's wild but it works! Perfectly. 👌 Generally speaking, Entwhistle is the perfect rhythm-section mate for Moon, although it's Pete playing bass on UMT. Not a bad bass at all.
THE BEATLES = in my book, "Ballad of John & Yoko" is Paul's best drumming.
STONES = IWBYM gets a TEN vote.
Now the versus poll ~~ when ABB was brand new, I swear, at home I had my portable CD player clipped on me with headphones all the time for over a week! I just kept playing the damn thing. However Tattoo You gets the vote.
