Plus again, why wasn't Wyman and Jones credited this time around at the very least? It was their riff that was used on here. Plus getting back to the JJF vs "Satisfaction" debate, Wyman also came up with the JJF riff, too, and he wasn't credited for that either.
I think that this would be a question well worth asking your insiders Keno. Personally, I think it will be a cold day in hell before it happens. There are those credits you mention, plus these, among others: RT, which should be Jones-Richards; "Sway", CYHMK, "Moonlight Mile" and TWFNO, which should be Jagger-Taylor; and not forgetting IORR, for which Ronnie should be credited.
Getting back to Aladdin Story, it's hard to dispute the fact that the riff is very strongly reminiscent of PIB, but the feel of the song is totally different. George Harrison's My Sweet Lord is a rip-off of an older Chiffons song. Does that make it worthless? Not to me, it doesn't. I'm sure that with a little digging, many more examples of this kind of stuff could be found. All music is derivative, to a certain extent.
Personally, I very much enjoy the entire bonus CD, from beginning to end. It would never occur to me to skip any of the tracks. And there are a couple that I always feel like playing again as soon as they end.
