I've always considered a 6 minute plus song a long song, but now that I think about it, 5:45 is the true cut off imo. When making a compilation I never burn two "long songs" back to back. Otherwise the long songs quickly get tedious after several playbacks.

Sandwich the long ones between two short ones, I say.
