Ridgway, Colorado

Ridgway is in Ouray County, in the southwestern portion of Colorado. The Uncompaghre River runs on it's east side. The town's population was 1,287, as of 2024, and it sits at 6,900 feet. The mountians around town include some of the most photographed mountains in the world, as the San Juan Mountain Range has 14 of Colorado's 53 peaks over 14,000 feet. This is also the home of the Grammy Award trophy, as they are hand crafted exclusively here by John Billings (the 'Grammy Man') of Billings Artworks in Ridgway. The trophies are all hand made, assembled, and plated on site.
