Word is that it is gonna happen (the new studio LP that is), but as far as this latest news goes, we heard this same album news first about 6 month after B&B was released, and nothing happened. So take this latest news with a grain of salt. Yet I think this time the news is for real.
I think there is a decent chance that this band could still be recording and touring for their 60th anniversary in 2022.
If Jagger and Richards are both still healthy, I guarantee you it will happen! (well, a new mini tour anyway)... even if on a small scale, they will do something. Same deal for Charlie and Ronnie, if they are both okay, they will be there too, but just remember, them 2 have both had battles with the big C in the past, too.
But really the most important thing is that time isn't on anybody's side once you hit your mid 70s and beyond, and it don't matter how much money you got, either. So that's the only thing that can stop them at this point in time - and will stop them sooner or later. But if they are lucky - and they been lucky their entire lives health wise, I could see them (Jagger & Richards) playing into their 80s.
