Funny, tonight I was putting some future rock poll questions together and as is usually the case for me, one poll idea leads to another poll. So I started out with the most untalented musician/singer/band ever, and made a list, and of course Kiss is on the list. Then I went with worst live rock act, and again, Kiss was the first band I thought of. Then the band that had the worst lead singer, or the worst singer period, and then worst sung song, and well, by now you know who made the list every time.
I just never got their appeal, yet they seem to have the most damn fans out there and that's the number 1 reason (really the only reason) why they got into the Rock Hall. But while I also never been a fan of Sabbath either, Kiss don't hold a candle to them. Sabbath's members at least know how to play their instruments while Kiss sounds like they are playing tin cans... Damn, there's another future rock poll to put together - who's the worst guitar player?.... Only thing is that's way too many negative polls. I still need to decide a what poll to run for next week, too, but I feel like I need something more positive to lay on everybody for Monday morning now, especially after asking about all of those sickly things for the last few weeks.
