You guys are speaking my language. This album rarely makes the cut into people’s top 5 but in my view it’s very close to that level. Other Stones albums ‘fit’ better into the world. You can play EOMS or SF at a frat party. Beggars banquet and LIB play well in Scorsese movies. SG and ER contain disco tracks. But GHS is not as accessible. It really sounds messsed up at times, which makes the albums title and much of the lyrical content quite apt and fitting.

I’ve loved it forever and have come to love every track. There are none where I feel the urge to skip foreword.
