Agree. "The Wall" in a way was more of a Waters solo album. He (unlike on DSOTM) handled most of the singing in addition to almost all the writing, and by then keyboardist Rick Wright was marginalized as a sideman, having been demoted from being a full band member. Waters is not a bad vocalist per see, but he tends to sing in an acrid caw style that gets a bit wearing after a while.
