The City of Steamboat Springs, is the county seat and the most populous city of Routt County, Colorado at a elevation of 6,412 feet. As of the 2010 census, the city population was 12,088. The city is an internationally known winter ski resort destination.

- Rabbit Ears Pass -

Rabbit Ears Pass (el. 9426 ft, 2873 m) is a mountain pass in the Rocky Mountains of northern Colorado, located to the east of Steamboat Springs, Colorado. The summit has the shape of a rabbit's ears, which is two large columns of basalt rock formations from a volcanic episode years ago.
