Woodbury is a hamlet located within the Town of Oyster Bay in Nassau County. The population was 9,335 at the time of the 2020 census. Note: Yes, there are two distincts called Woodbury in New York state, the other one is in Orange County in the Hudson Valley.

Melville is just to the southeast of Woodbury in Suffolk County's Town of Huntington. Located about 35 miles from NYC, it has an elevation at 135 ft (41 m) and a population (as of 2020) of 19,284.
