Hicksville (elevation 148 feet / 45 meters) is a city and census-designated place (CDP) within the Town of Oyster Bay in Nassau County, on Long Island, in New York. The population of the CDP was 43,869 at the 2020 census. According to the U.S. Census Bureau, the CDP has a total area of 6.8 square miles (18 km2), of which 6.8 square miles (18 km2) is land and 0.15% is water, and it's elevation is 148 feet (45 meters). Average monthly temperatures in the village center range from 32°F (0°C) in January to 74.7°F (24°C) in July.
