New York/U.S./Canada Border
New York state shares a 445-mile border with the Canadian provinces of Ontario and Quebec, featuring major international crossings connecting the regions via bridges and border stations. The one below is by Fineview NY, a quaint, vintage hamlet located on Wellesley Island in the heart of the Thousand Islands region of New York. Known for its narrow roads and historic charm, it offers excellent access to the St. Lawrence River and surrounding nature. Also be ready for snow on the road in this area if you drive it in winter, as the area recieves roughly 110 inches (279 cm) of seasonal snow, thanks to lake-effect bands blowing off Lake Ontario.
