: Hello gang,
: Just wanted to post a message about the song "Hide Your Love" from Goat's head Soup. i think that this song, like many songs on other Stones albums which weren't singles, is very underrated. It has such a great groove to it. Mick's piano playing is great. This song's sounds to me to be very Chuck berry influenced, as well as Blusish at the same time. We all know that probably Chuck berry's biggest fan is Keef, so it's no surprise that his influence went into this song, but, then again, so did his influence show in so many other songs from the Stones. i think this one is fantastic though...the only thing that could be better on this song is Mick's voice....he's slurring a little too much on this one...but I'm sure we all know why(can you say D-R-U-G-S?) Still, what a good song...if you don't believe me, listen to it again..I am right now...lol. Evening all!
It's all Mick Taylor on guitar
