Don't feel too sad and embarrassed. I too know your pain! (What about Bobby Goldsborrow and "Honey" or Morris Albert and "Feelings" ? AAAHHHHHHH!!!! I told you, I know your pain!!! And I know I misspelled Bobby G's last name.)
I think we know this stuff because you and I are MUSICIANS. At least that's how I console myself. I will even give you one that's even SCARIER!!!! I am not proud of this but........I know the chords for..........Michael Jackson's "Billie Jean"........Ohh God.........I'm OK now! I use to be in this band that was favorably compared to The Replacements in which we would sometimes play really lame cover songs (for maybe 30-60 seconds) just to annoy some of the audience which in turn would delite the rest of the audience as well as us. It was schlocky and cheesey no doubt! B.J. was one of those songs. We played it more like The Clash doing Police and Thieves!
