Ha! You are the MAN when it comes to being up on what went down, so I'll go along with these choices. Especially since Sir Stonesalot (your Stateside Gaseous Twin) and I attended two of them together!
: Philadelphia 8.31.1989,this is the HOTTEST show ever!!
Is that the one where the power went off during Shattered? First Philly show I missed since '75. Judging from the boot video I have, a fine show - but the hottest EVER?
: 2.Washington 8.1.1994,YEEEEES,2nd,no doubt,THE STONES night
Hoooo hooo hooo, yes, my Eurotrash-talking friend, no DOUBT! It took place on Sir S's birthday, and the day after mine. A lot of stuff that was weird and wild got cut from the show after the opener - like a Haitian drum troupe to hypnotize the audience before the Stones came out, and a fire-breathing goat-guy on stilts during Monkey Man. Like a SMOKING version of "Can't Get Next To You". It was a night to remember.
: 3.Chicago 9.23.1997,...but,keef used his leopard jacket,YES,thats rock n roll.
I didn't attend that one but saw the first two songs on tv - and was ASTONISHED that KEITH outdid Mick in the fashion department! Mick had on a green suit, fairly restrained, and Keith was dressed like Ike Turner!
: if i have to add one more, which isnt opening show its
: 4.New Jersey 10.17.1997 THE STONES SHOW,probaply the
: best on btb tour!STARFUCKER.
Ha! Again! We were also there - or somewhere high above it. Literal nosebleed seats. A splendid show - and when Mick started singing "Baby, baby..." at the beginning of IORR I knew he had it and Starfucker mixed up, so I amazed everyone by predicting it would win the cyber vote. The high point of that show for me was "Love In Vain". BUT! ....it's only the best show of B2B if you don't count MSG 1, 2 or 3, and I thought Atlanta was better too. No Expectations!
