If my post on this board last week had anything to do with it, thanks for reading Mick and playing When the Whip Comes
Down on the small stage. There were a few pretty good lookin ladies down there in the front row of the small stage last night. I
think they made Keith and Woody blush!

I really dug the show last night, especially the first half. It was the most laid back Stones show I have seen. I had great seats
and watched Woody, Keith and Charlie almost all night. The sound for the first two songs was bad - from where I was - and
especially on Live With Me. Very distorted, the mix was horrible. It got straighted out clearly on You Got Me Rockin and from
then on the sound bounced around between excellent, good and bad the rest of the night. I didn't watch Mick much as I was
very interested in watching the band. Woody was very fun to watch again last night and I thought that he played really well. I
remember his solos on You Got Me Rockin -slide, and some others. Even though I am not in favor of the stadium tunes either,
I thought that Keith and Woody kicked ass on Only Rock&Roll. Woody was playing the chunky rythm parts on a telecaster,
loud and clear. It was pure rock & roll baby. The stage seems like a cozy setup for the band.

Aside from the bad sound, I really dug the first part of the show again. I don't think that the Stones should feel the need to blast
out with the "stadium tunes" to close the show. I think that the audience wants to see the Stones play what the Stones want to
play. I think that they should play whatever THEY feel like because that would automatically translate into a good vibe that the
audience would dig more.

I also watched Leah Wood during Keith's tune. She was having a blast singing with Lisa Fisher and Bernard. I saw here look
back to Charlie and Charlie give her the nod. That was very cool. It looked like Charlie had a good time last night. I really
enjoy watching the interaction between Keith, Woody and Charlie. Enjoy it while you can folks. I hope they keep doing it for
years to come.
