I know I've been effectively banned here, but as one last hurrah--and since Keno supposedly so loves rock polls--I pose one final question to you all, before the board dies, ignominiously, in less than a fortnight:
What are your top-5 or top-10 most-listened-to albums in your life?
Not the most recognized or the most critically acclaimed--or even the most personally meaningful. Just, the most-listened-to. The ones that get spun the most. The ones you don't get tired of, or don't ruin by listening too much. The ones you put on for friends at a party, in the car with passengers, or just for yourself at home or on headphones. Over and over, and over again.
For me, the ones I love and treasure and cherish the very most deeply of all don't make the cut more than twice on my list, save for Exile of course, which is at the top of the list in every category you can invent; and which is why it is my favorite album of all time.
Anyone want to respond? You can all join in (as the Traffic song suggests) or you can all continue to shun me, as Keno has basically done thus far. Personally, I think only good vibes and forgiveness should 'trump' any past strife we have ever endured on this board. I honestly don't want to stick it to Keno, or to anyone, in this post. I hope that by even posting at all he considers it a tribute to this board that I would think to end this way. On a positive note. Only for the music.
So, what have you? Most listened of all time. And of course, most-listened-to Stones albums as a separate category.
