Here's mine.
Steel Wheels, first show of the tour, Philadelphia, August. '89.
No Internet ticket sales then. A buddy and I stayed out all night at a local ticketmaster -- remember those? Sale date was August 5. I distinctly remember since it is a friend's birthday.
We managed around 10th in line. Still, floor was sold out by the time we reached the counter. Tix were $28.50 if I recall. I still have the stub, so I could double check.
Six was the purchase limit, so six it was. Two for us, two for lucky [!] friends. We sold the other two to two guys in line at *another* ticketmaster for a enough of a profit that we covered the cost of our tix.
In Living Color opened. Ugh ...
Showtime! They played much longer back then -- around 2 1/2 hours if I recall. 2000 Light Years From Home was a highlight

This was at the old Veteran's Stadium, since torn down -- thankfully, what a dump! But it was opening night and a great time.
