RE: RE: RE: RE: Greatest musicians technically?

Me too, loved their harmonies. But when it comes to vocal harmonies, The Beatles have the edge. Those were great harmonies. They were beautiful. Geez, on 'Abbey Road' the harmonies alone are worth the money.

Bass playing --- I have to go with Bill here. He had a, how can I say, a swing style of playing. He didn't follow tradition, with rare exception like on "Hot Stuff". With Bill, his playing wasn't by the numbers. Does that make sense? Okay let me try it this way ---> Darryl PLAYS the bass lines for the Stones, but Bill MADE the bass lines. 🙀 Awright listen to Bill carefully on "Start Me Up". THAT's what I mean.

Paul was a damn good bass player for The Beatles, but here the winner is clearly Bill.

Guitars -- Tough call. Brian & Keith over George & John, I think partly because of B & K's love for, and understanding of, the Blues. But both groups did great guitar-team works.

And of course the Stones have a frontman named Mick Jagger.
