If only that was still true today Mr buck! Poll after poll shows that America's favorite sport hasn't been basebore for years now, as football is the number 1 sport in America today. Baseball isn't even the number 2 sport in the States today, as basketball is. For me, basebore is my favorite sport to fall asleep to while watching. But come to think of it, maybe golf is better to do that, but then again, the last time I actually watched golf on TV (well, I think I lasted 5 minutes watching it) was back around the early 1970s or so. At least I can take in about 10 minutes at a time with baseball (but that don't count going to a game in person). Plus hell, if the first place Rockies keep it up, I just might have an excuse to watch the post season this year! I do still keep tabs on the Rockies and the Mets, but that's about it. I've seen maybe 2 different Rockies games on the tube this year, well, an inning or two that is, as I had a real nice nap after that.
