Well in the case of say jim brown or dick gregory if they want to raise the blck power salute,who cares if it pisses off racists and red necks.But in kampernicks caes he did his act without stopping to figure out the impact it might have on veterans,war veterans and disabled and injured vets due to combat duty?If he has an issue with cops he should pick police stations to picket at or have sit ins at, or wear anti cop clothing on the sidelines,carry afew anti police signs.Most cops probably have never served in the military and are few are employed by the military so why slap the flag down?He has that right but its classless and in poor taste i think.Most police stations are in no way affiliated with the military?If he protested in front of a police station he would get the shit kicked out of him by some cops if no one was around,its wrong but it would happen to us white people too?The celebrities i mentioned wre or all intelligent well spoken highly repected guys.Kampernick may be intelligent i dont know if he is, but hes not so highly respected as the guys i mentioned.He will probably get a book deal but who would buy it,hes not a very charismatic interesting guy to me,he looks like a clown?
