102 in Boise yesterday with 5% humidity. Summer has arrived. No large fires in the area yet, although there was a 60-acre grass fire about a mile from here the night of the 4th, ignited by idiots with illegal fireworks. Fortunately, water drops from a helicopter and hand crews arrived in time to get it contained quickly before it got out of control.
