Why would they stop selling shoe horns? Yet it's funny, you're right, you just don't see them around like you used to. But why? Don't people still need them? Maybe not, are shoes made any different today? Heck, I haven't seen one in decades come to think of it! I used to use them myself when I was younger, but then again, today I almost never wear shoes at all. I'll wear sneakers when I go places in the winter since it's cold out and only wear snow boots if I have to, but boots aren't shoes. Then in the summer I wear sandals for the most part when outside, and to this day I still have on the 3 doors to my house this tiny small notice taped to the door that you can't miss, even if it's small, and it reads "Please remove your shoes, thanks!". It works every time, as I don't want dirty shoes on my carpets and floors, well that, and I just never wear any footwear in the house and nor does anybody else in my family. Today my carpets are all very old after 16 years in this house, but they aren't dirty, and bare feet will always rule in my home unless delivery men or repair people are making a call, that's the only real exception to that rule of course, but they usually have those clean foot pads that they put on over their shoes, which is totally cool, too.
