OK Paul was busted for pot in Japan, but that didn't tarnish his image.
Are you kidding!? LOL! You must have forgotten what went on with Paul after that bust! He was the blunt of a ton of non stop jokes after that happened. My favorite one was, after that arrest - where he got busted at the airport and throw in jail for a few days - for placing his weed in the top of his suitcase, and he didn't even try to hide it in there from the custom agents, whom he knew would check inside his suitcase... So the simple joke went something like this: "Now we all have the definite answer to the long running debate as to who the smarter Beatle in the band between Paul and John was".
Just a note to those of you who are too young and who who didn't get the joke, and who don't understand.... Well if you weren't around back then, the Paul vs John debate as to who was the smarter Beatle, was a major debate that went on for years between Beatle fans. The debate started out around 1965 or so, and Paul was busted in 1980... and it finally ended with that bust! But really, that had to be Paul's all time stupid move, Ronnie!
