Yeah, I've heard he was this way with his fellow musicians too, but not with other people I guess. He lived for several years not to far from where I'm living today, to the southeast of where I'm at and on the other side of the mountains, near Trinidad, Colorado. He was actually working on a horse farm from what I understand and he got along well with everybody. This was many years ago, like in the early '90s, and he also recommended to Ronnie Lane that he should move from the UK to this area, since it was a place where MS was having major studies done on it. Lane took him up on this and loved the place too, and would die from his MS there and be buried in Trinidad. His wife still lives there today, but Baker moved away around 2000 or so.
