Yes, a great LP, but I liked Damn the Torpedoes even more!
I was recalling a interview Tom did after George Harrison died. He told a short story about the day after fellow Wilbury Roy Orbison had died of a heart attack, and George phoned him up and the very first thing George said to him was "Aren't you glad it wasn't you?". Tom's answer was of course "Well yeah". Now all 3 of them are gone. But you gotta wonder if the rich and famous fear death even more so than us normal folks do? Even if they believed in a afterlife like George did (he believed in rebirth). They got to know that even if they do come back some day, the odds are against them living the same kind of great life they had in this current life. And all 3 of them really died before they grew totally into old age because of bad health issues.
If before you were born, you had the choice of living a great life and being well loved by all, and also be rich and famous like they were, but you would not live past your 60s, or instead you could just live a normal life and still being happy, but maybe poor, while getting to live into your 80s or 90s, which would you pick?
