Passed on seeing Tom Petty and The Heartbreakers this past year, was hoping to go to his rumored club solo tour in 2018.

Sad day, Rest In Peace Tom, thanks for the great music.

Met him twice, once in a bar on 6th Streer in Austin after his Austin City Limits show...I was a goof, telling him I love Last Dance with Mary Jane...lol...the band was ushered into reserved room for a private party and I happened to be just outside of the door when they came in.

Met him and the band again in Tulsa, they were starting at the same hotel...it had a catwalk to the arena they were playing in. This was a much better meeting..lol
