So.... where are the protest songs of this era?

There is a lot of racial unrest in the USA.

Trump is an insane, bigoted, fear mongering, idiot.

We seem to be on the brink of war.

So do we hear these issues and events being reflected in today's music?

I do not hear it. If I am simply missing this, please let me know so I can check it out.

In rap I mostly here the same rubbish about guys bragging about their guns, women, dominion even of others. In country music, just a load of pap.
