how much longer until everyone takes kim jong un seriously?
even if he is bluffing, these are nuclear weapons we are talking about. these weapons have made it so an accident can destroy our species.
Considering how NK is run, they are not stopping in their weapons program. in fact, its in their best interest to continue. same with iran. obama bought time with that deal, but they are not stopping.
first line of defense was sanctions. helped in the short term. sabotage did slow iran, that can help with NK, but much harder to infiltrate them.
assassination followed by military led government could work, but at present, the military seems loyal to un.
its a dangerous scenario, and could easily be a stumbling block to a conventional world war.
im just curious if nukes will start off, or end the next major conflict. to me, the odds seem good that nukes will be used again in some capacity.
and the worst part is, this country has a leader without a shred of understanding of history and diplomacy. though he is brilliant at making himself money, and self promoting.
