RE: RE: RE: RE: RE: Dunkirk, history, navy

bluesboy, robotics, I can completely understand the expense associated with robotics, my brother who lives in Atlanta, headquarters for Coke, where my brother works as a graphics contractor, run into some big, big money. That's understandable,

It's the fleecing of huge money for like you said, "A toilet seat, it should wipe, powder and kiss your ass for the crazy amounts of money that goes hand in hand with defense contracts." Lest Holt, (NBC) had a series on defense contracts called "the fleecing of America" and would give examples of just what we're talking about.

I've really got a huge interest on what goes into building Military ships, jets, tanks, guns, and all the things it takes to keep the US in the top spot of military might. Just ck. out AHC (use to be called the military ch.--- my brother use to joke with me calling it, the WW2 channel.

Sounds like there's several gassers into history/military might, etc... I watched a 2 hour show in what it took to put one of our Enterprise Nuclear Aircraft carriers and it blew my mind! They don't have to be refueled for 25-30 years! They also have a mandatory Submarine, 2-- 600 ft.cruise ships, 1 army deployment ship along with a fuel, supply ship when a Nuclear aircraft carrier deploys. It's a freaking task force when they all take off. The British and Canada, our main allies also have very powerful military forces and we all have each others backs.

A good example was when the British had to retake the Falkland Islands off the southern tip of South America on it's Eastern coast back in the 80s. The British had to go 10,000 plus miles and flex their military might and retook the Falkland Islands without too much trouble. Yes, they lost men and ships but they put a hurting on Argentina. Really admire Britain's Harrier jump jet, tough!
