GHS and B&L--But I voted for A Bigger Bang by mistake...Oh well...
Considering how close the voting is at the moment in this poll - it's tied, I will change your vote for you, since we don't want to see a mistake changed the outcome of the poll when it's all done... even if today is only the first day of voting and a lot can change by next Sunday nite.
My picks:
Stones 1: Haven't voted in it yet as I'm not sure. Looking at my 2 reviews of the LPs, I rated ABB higher. But because B&L is still so new, I'm playing that now where I haven't played ABB in about a year. So I need to think this one over some more... and I really do want to re-rate all of the Stones LPs, since it's been so many years since I last did that. With that noted, I still love ABB and a new rating may not change things too much.
Stones 2: GHS
Rock 1: Went with Lennon
Rock VS: Voted for the band's version
Fab poll: Thanks to SiriusXM, which is the only place on the radio where I can listen to Classic Rock music where I live, and which was ruined years ago when they merged with XM radio and for whatever stupid reason they took on XMs playlist instead of the one they had, which was light years better. So I had to go with one of my favorite Beatles songs in the poll, that being "Hey Jude", which SiriusXM totally overplays. The same deal is true with them ruining my favorite Stones song - SFTD, which they also totally overplay. I'll note that those jerks are not allowing the Dish Network to broadcast the new Beatles station over their satellite when they allow every other music station to be rebroadcast. So I never have heard that Beatles station, since I get SiriusXM on Dish only, and I don't know if they overplay HJ on there too. My guess is that they do, since they got the worst program managers around. Other than maybe not as bad as Pandora radio, which I only started to listen to about 2 weeks ago when I finally got my new cell phone. Talk about being the repeat kings, and why the hell do they play so much live solo Paul McCartney on the Beatles station on Pandora? For every solo John Lennon song they play, they play 10 live McCartney songs (and I'm not exaggerating on this). Then they also play about 5 solo George Harrison live songs to every solo Lennon song, too, yet I haven't heard a single Ringo solo song ever played on there! A bunch of morons run that station/company, that's for sure! Oh well, I didn't mean to turn this reply into a bitch, sorry, but that's how it goes sometimes.
