If there is no reincarnation then why do some people live to 90 and be very healthy and some live to age 4 with or longer with very poor health?
It has to do with how your body formed in the wound, that, and from the genes you got from your parents, that's all there is to that. Or do you think this God controls who will be healthy and who won't? If so, which God?... since there's so many of them out there thanks to all of the religions we have.
I don't believe in a afterlife since there's no proof, period. Yes it could be, but the only reason people want to believe in a afterlife is because they only know about living and fear death, that's it, period. The idea of not existing ever again is not a pleasant thing to think of, is it? Of course it isn't, and that's why this afterlife thing was made up. The fact it was made up by mankind doesn't mean it's fake - or real. Maybe it is real, but if it's so, you can bet that it isn't like the different religions preach either, that's for sure.

"We don't understand" is the key there. Since we don't understand, well that doesn't mean it's a higher intellect, it's more than likely a higher force of nature I would say. You want to believe it is some higher intellect, cool, you want to call it "God", then fine too. Just don't have your religious leaders forcing their believes on me and those of us who don't believe in this. That's the real problem with all of this.
