HR, for me it all started with STP, Stone Temple Pilots. My daughter and myself just fell head over heals for Scott Weiland, also dead at 46 (drugs). We got Core, Purple, Tiny Dancers (my favorite) and it was just good old fashioned Rock n'Roll ! Then Soundgarden, Pearl Jam (love them), Eddie Vedder is great. But it was STP that lit a fire under me with great songs like Wicked Garden, Plush, Interstate Love Song, Creep and one of the best lead guitarists I've ever heard. Grunge took off from there for me and my daughter. Still love it!
