I was thinking about Fatmo talking about record companies using Elvis as a safe vehicle for bringing black music into the white mainstream....that was Pat Boone, singer of insipid limp covers of black music...but he was ok in his own way.

manny I always play Elvis's Christmas album on Christmas Day......I had four vinyl copies at one point...they were not on RCA though, but Camden, that's who released them here....I've got one framed, and it's up above my bed....I actually like the Vegas Elvis, and Movie Elvis.
