For me it's always been the Stones #1 with John Lennon/Beatles right behind them. In the early to mid-70s the RSs just took off for me. It was a big deal that the Beatles split. That squarely put my focus on the Stones since the Beatles were no longer together.

Music is like a fine bottle of wine. Over time, it matures, as dose ones knowledge and a ear for what you truly love, musically speaking. One thing I've learned over time is to never knock what other people dig listening to. I know there is no two people alike with their musical tastes. Live and let live. Easier said than done.
