MT co-wrote the music on this one, like he did on several songs before it, and just like Brian and Bill before him, he wasn't credited for his songwriting work. But after the album before IORR (that this song was on) came out, GHS, an album where he wrote the music on half the songs and was the only guitarist playing on about half the songs on the LP (while Keith was wasting away on H), and wasn't credited for any songwriting on that one, he was starting to think of leaving the band for that very reason, since this had been going on since he joined the band in mid 1969. TWFNO was the last straw for MT, and would be the second to last song he would ever record with the Stones.
