Toward the conclusion of the 1976 "Last Waltz" Thanksgiving concert with the Band, Dylan started off his brief set by being his usual sullen self, but during "Forever Young" he took very favorable notice of a young lady in the front row who was off-camera but reportedly in flashing mode that evening. So even Bob Dylan can be coaxed out of character on occasion. His performance at this particular show was top notch.
